Hamilton Southeastern High School Chiller Replacement Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation RQAW | DCCM partnered with the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation and the high school’s facilities team to deliver a critical infrastructure upgrade: the replacement of an aging 320-ton centrifugal chiller original to the building. The project was strategically scheduled to ensure uninterrupted cooling for the Spring semester, supporting a comfortable and productive learning environment. To streamline construction and enhance coordination, RQAW | DCCM provided detailed 3D mechanical plant drawings, enabling precise field execution and minimizing installation conflicts. The project was successfully completed in Spring 2024, delivering long-term reliability and energy efficiency for one of Indiana’s largest high schools.

Perry Meridian High School Domestic Water Heater Replacement Indianapolis, Indiana RQAW | DCCM provided the design for a modern and energy-efficient domestic water heating system replacement at Perry Meridian High School. The new system ensures consistent hot water delivery throughout the facility, including the kitchen, restrooms, and locker room showers. This upgrade contributes to improved hygiene, enhanced comfort, and greater operational efficiency. Developed in close partnership with the school’s facilities team, the design was tailored to meet both current functional requirements and long-term infrastructure objectives. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, reflecting Perry Township Schools’ continued commitment to sustainable and forward-thinking investments in educational facilities.

Rosa Parks Elementary Boiler & Chiller Replacement Indianapolis, Indiana RQAW | DCCM led the significantly advanced comprehensive HVAC system upgrade for the Rosa Parks Elementary School. This initiative was carefully phased to align with the academic calendar and minimize disruption to school operations. The cooling system was replaced over spring break, ensuring the facility was prepared for warmer weather, while the heating system was completed during summer break to support the upcoming school year. The project included the installation of three high-efficiency boilers, two high-capacity chillers, and a fully modernized Building Management System (BMS), providing facility staff with improved control and visibility over operations. Delivered through a design-bid-build approach, the project leveraged multiple manufacturers and flexible alternates to maximize value within budget constraints. The result is a high-performance, future-ready HVAC system that advances sustainability goals and supports student success.

Monroe Convention Center Cooling System Bloomington, Indiana Faced with aging infrastructure and the need to maintain high standards, the Monroe Convention Center required a significant upgrade to its cooling system. Our dedicated MEP team is executing the project, which involves replacing the cooling tower, pumps, and controls. To ensure minimal disruption to operations, temporary cooling is being provided throughout the process. Even with a limited timeframe between conferences, our team is effectively overseeing the upgrade process while remaining on budget. UFC Gym The UFC Gym is the ultimate MMA-inspired fitness facility, training their members like they would train MMA athletes. This $1.2M, 20,000-sf facility of­fers a variety of amenities and knowledge which includes an oxygen deprivation system, turf, recovery room, heated fitness room, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu room, spa area, and locker rooms with saunas. RQAW | DCCM and BW Construction partnered on this project, creating the first UFC Gym in Indiana and Midwest area. The owners plan to open four more UFC Gyms around the Indy area over the next four years.

Good Samaritan Hospital Surgery Suite Mechanical Renovation Vincennes, Indiana RQAW | DCCM’s MEP team was tasked with the design of the Good Samaritan Hospital Surgery Suite Mechanical Renovation project for the City of Vincennes. The project included providing the correct HVAC solution to resolve continual duct condensate and Operating Room temperature/humidity control issues. All duct-mounted coils and other problem areas above critical operation spaces were pulled. Our design maintained and improved backup operations previously facilitated by multiple existing air-handling units. RQAW | DCCM’s goal was to establish and retain long-term relationships with the City by meeting their current and future needs. Completed 2023
